How is Ginsenoside work on skin?

Ginsenoside is the main component of ginseng (Panaxginseng). The root of ginseng contains about 4% of total saponins, and the content in fibrous roots is higher than that in tap roots. It is a mixture of more than ten kinds of saponins. Ginseng leaves also contain a certain amount of saponins. Ginsenosides are composed of panaxadiol and panaxatriol as the main saponins and external glycosides. The medicinal value of ginseng is also determined by the saponin content of their constituents. From this point of view, the quality of ginsenosides in white ginseng, American ginseng, and Korean ginseng is the best, and the rest of the ginseng is next or has no ginsenoside activity. Ginsenosides can be extracted from the roots, stems, flowers, leaves and other secondary parts of ginseng.
